Local Louisville rapper Brice Rhodes was no stranger to the authorities. Before his triple murder charges Rhodes served time for armed robbery, criminal confinement, domestic assualt, and felony intimidation.

Jeremy Mull, the Clark County Prosecutor, knew Rhodes well, saying, "I did send him away -- six years on the robbery charges some years ago. He was released, put on probation, violated that probation and was sent back on multiple occasions."

Perhaps even more concerning was the music videos Brice put together that featured fake guns being held up by neighborhood kids, including the two brothers he would later stab to death.

No Witnesses

40-year-old Christopher Jones was shot by Brice Rhodes on May 4th, 2016 as he was driving down South 41st Street. Rhodes claims he had mistaken Jones for a local wanted man that had a ‘hit’ on his head by a local gang.

His goal was to shoot Jones and collect the bounty from the gang.

He shot Christopher Jones in the torso and later died in the hospital. His death was Louisville’s 38th homicide of 2016.

16-year-old Maurice Gordon was the “getaway driver” and his brother Larry Ordway was in the backseat when the shooting occurred.

Brice Rhodes decided he needed to eliminate the two brothers since they were witnesses to his crime.

Trappin', Juggin', & Killin' Kids

[Wrong Turns] Brothers Larry Ordway, 14, and Maruice Gordon, 16, began hanging out with Brice Rhodes, 26, who would later gag and brutally stab them both.

Rhodes had invited both Larry and Maurice over to his home on May 22, 2016, under the guise of ‘partying’. Also invited over was Tieren Coleman, 19, and Anjaun Carter, 15.

During the morning, Brice Rhodes accused both brothers of stealing money from him. A claim which was obviously untrue. In reality, Brice wanted a simple excuse to use violence against the two kids.

Anjuan Carter was the first to confess the murder to police. He claimed Rhodes had separated the two brothers and then “put a stocking over Gordon’s head, gagged him and stabbed him in the chest several times.”

Rhodes then “moved Maurice’s body aside and brought Ordway back into the living room.”

“He started stabbing him too.”

“Maurice was crying and stuff and he was asking everybody to spare him,” 15-year-old Anjuan Carter told Det. Jon Lesher on May 24, according to a video of the interview.

Rhodes made the Gordon get on his knees and "beg for forgiveness" and once he did, he was murdered.

After stuffing the two corpses into wooden crates, Brice Rhodes dumps them on a vacant lot in the 400 Block of River Park Drive, east of Shawnee Park.

Rhodes then set the crates on fire.

Both Anjuan Carter and Tieren Coleman stayed behind and bleached the carpet. Rhodes then drove them both home after buying them lunch.

Mother Didn't Know, Perhaps Didn't Care

Marie Wren knew that her teenage sons were hanging out with Brice Rhodes, but obviously didn't care. She never called police when they didn't come home, in fact, she didn't even know they were dead.

The mother of the two boys, Marie Wren, had no idea that her sons were stabbed to death, set on fire, and dumped in a vacant lot until a teacher boy's school recognized their sketches.

Wren was quick to launch a GoFundMe account, which she quickly deleted, in attempts to raise $100,000 for the kid's funerals.

According to multiple funeral homes, the average funeral in Louisville cost between $3k and $9k.

Brice Rhodes Dream Come True

The Kentucky rapper finally found the fame he's always wanted.

He is now facing a death-row sentence and has fired a few attorneys, spit on people, accused one judge of sleeping with his lawyer, and threatened literally everyone.

But that's understandable. You gotta act hard being a sex offender in prison.
