Carey Birmingham, a 60-year-old man, brutally shot and killed his wife, Patricia “Rici” Birmingham, in their driveway, as she captured the horrifying moments on video.
The Shocking Crime Caught on Camera
Neighbors heard the couple arguing outside their home on the 19800 block of Rose Dawn Lane. Armed with a shotgun, Carey Birmingham confronted his wife about her alleged infidelity. In the chilling video footage, his haunting words echo: “Alright, goodbye. You’re going to meet Jesus.”When Patricia alerted him that he was being filmed, Carey coldly replied, “I’ll pull it. I’m mad enough to pull it.” He then fired three shots at his wife, brutally ending her life. Shockingly, Carey walked back into the house, leaving his dying wife on the ground without any attempt to help her.

Patricia “Rici” Birmingham was a beloved 48-year-old woman, described by those closest to her as “vivacious, full of life, and beautiful both inside and out.” A born-again Christian, Rici was known for her kindness and her unwavering love for her 16-year-old daughter, Olivia.Rici was a trailblazer in her career, becoming the first Certified and Registered Cardiovascular Technologist in Savannah, Georgia, and later earning a BA in Business Administration while working at hospitals in Dallas and Houston, saving lives. In 2020, despite the pandemic, Rici became one of the top real estate agents in Houston, mentoring many along the way.
