Ok I had to screen scroll super fast to not see the pix  (thanks for the disclaimer!) total rando question but why would anyone write “if we catch you talking to a stray dog” did anyone else think that was weird? I mean the whole thing was weird but is talking to a stray dog some code speak or something? Why would anyone in this situation take the time to talk to a stray dog? I mean we already knew they took their sweet time doing everything else and inviting everyone to the crime scene -so maybe a stray dog… Read more »

I wonder if the stray dog thing also came from another movie quote like the other line? I wonder if the Ramseys owned any of these movies…

I honestly don’t have a whole lot of questions, but I do want to know who you guys think did it. I don’t know exactly where I am on it because it’s such a huge case, but in the start when I first heard about it, I kind of thought that it had to do with the family. A lot of people thought that a ten year old brother couldn’t do anything like that, but I have heard a few crazy stories of kids killing parents and siblings at a super young age. I mean it could have been a… Read more »

The spotlight thing is a really interesting case against Burke I didn’t think about it like that!

Loved Part 2 by the way. So, I have a theory that the Ramseys were involved in a Paedophile ring- I know it sounds far fetched but hear me out. There was a major Paedophile ring bust in Australia recently that involved a father and his pre-teen daughter, he was involved in a huge ring that included other men he knew and he would basically hire her out to them. I think what happened to JonBennet is similar, in that, I think either Jon or Pattsy ( women are known to be involved in this sort of thing) was either… Read more »

Thank you Jazz!! We all got REALLY into this case. I think that is a super intriguing theory — honestly compared to the ones that are out there, it’s really not all that far-fetched!! I’m sure with her pagent status she would have been very desired… the it would surprise me though a bit if she was kept in public if she was in a ring though? I kind of have this image in my head that if a child is involved in a sex ring like that they’d be locked up in a basement and never see the light… Read more »

So much went wrong with this investigation… When this was all initially being reported, my thoughts on stuff like how they let John search for her and neighbors/friends coming in and out of the house had to do with the class status of the parents. Ever dealt with a wealthy person as a server or a customer service person in retail?? The loud minority in that income level can get loud and quite condescending to anyone they perceive as “below” them. I assumed the Ramseys intimidated the police officers who responded and that’s part of why things weren’t done by… Read more »

Grace – I think you’re absolutely right. I think John Ramsey was able to take better control of the house because of his status over Detective Arnt FOR SURE and that was a big factor in so many things going sideways here. The police didn’t take stands when they really needed to– like stopping the mother from cleaning the kitchen or the intervewing separately in your example. The note is just the most damming piece of evidence against Patsy… I just don’t see how she COULDN’T be involved when they look so similar. I think I could almost set aside… Read more »

I think it is strange how unorganized the detective was on setting up the crime scene. I have a feeling that the cops might have been paid off by the Ramsey’s or that they were more involved in the cover up. The heart in the hand, the first thing I thought of was that she might have been holding on to a toy or something to console herself while this was all happening. The strange part is that it looks like the heart was carved into her hand. Also, JFK was not murder my Oswald, that was the cover up.… Read more »

I’m honestly not too sure who killed her. That whole sex ring thing is interesting and HORRIBLE, but like I am still not swinging totally in that direction. Also it really reflects negatively that they didn’t search the house after they realized she was missing.

Anyway… IDK

I think it was the brother. Then the parents both covered it up and that’s mainly why they refused to be interviewed apart and not allowing the son to be interviewed. This helped keep their story straight!

If they were innocent they wouldn’t have anything to hide. It would only help rule them out!
